There are many possible cause of hair loss, however the man who experiences hair loss usually finds that it is part of his individual genetic makeup.
ANDROGENETIC ALOPECIA is the most common cause of loss and balding in men. It represents almost 95% of all man hair loss. Other types of hair loss include:
• Alopecia areata: Considering an auto immune disorder. Causes "patchy" hair loss, often in small circular areas in different areas of the scalp.
• Alopecia titalis: Total hairloss of the scalp, (an advanced form of alopecia areata).
• Alopecia universalis: Hair loss of the entire body, (also an advanced form of alopecia areata).
